ABOUT ME

Born in breech position, thirty-five years ago and still the impact is noticeable. Too stubborn to work at a desk I choose for a training in the audio-visual mediums. After my studies a nomadic life tempted me and thats the reason why an excursion to London City became one of a half year. Run out of money I went back home and took a job for four months in an ice cream factory where after I decided to explore West-Africa. A dream holiday with the backpack which was unfortunately abruptly demolished three months after my departure by the unexpected dead of my dad. In Belgium I decided to do something with my studies. I started to work as a researcher for the production house Kanakna and was one of the pioneers of the docu-soaps 'Life as it is', such as 'Children hospital´. After that I worked as a freelance reporter and one year later they offered me a fulltime job at the production house Headtrick in Antwerp. There I worked behind the fence for the programme 'Goedele life!' Then I started working for the same company, under the internetsite CafeBelge. After a year and a half of expansion and glory the IT bubble collapsed and the complete trade was shut down. In the meantime I was married with my first love and had returned to the roots of my town, Ieper. The interminable traffic-jams and the long working days, decided me to look for a job closer to home. I became teacher of informatics in a high school, but the travel microbe came always more often to the surface and after two years I decided to go in treatment. I became bachelor again and decided to start a new life as a vagabond. I took my bike and started a trip for almost three years in South and Central America... Since that time I still cycling. At the moment (2013-2014) I'm discover Asia by bike. Or how my love for cycling became a real dream...

I can offer a couch for two persons. I'm traveling a lot! I can not nobody host during Easter Holliday (Iran - 25 march until 12th of April) and during the Summer Holliday (Tibet and Nepal 2th of July until 26th of August).
