About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Pursuit of happiness!

ABOUT ME

Erm, i am left handed. And I like dolphins. I would like to believe in the goodness of people, so I thought, "hey this CouchSurfing thing might be the perfect place to practice that belief." So far, it has been pretty cool!

I just really want to make a difference -- please tell me it's not impossible :)

PHILOSOPHY

Equality for all. Every single person in this world deserves to have a shot at their own version of happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really like how CSers get the perfect situation while visiting a new & different place: automatic friend, tour guide, & place to crash in. What's bad about that eh? And it feels so awesome to have like-minded people in one site, trying their best to make the world a better place.. One couch at a time, indeed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

1st hosted while working in Macau, never had a bad experience. Now i'm hosting in Manila & it's a bigger house with more people, so it's a completely different dynamic. Still no bad experience :)

Couchsurfed in Hawaii for a week. Couchsurfed for almost a week in Osaka, Japan. Also couchsurfed in Phuket, Thailand. All awesome, unforgettable experiences.

Also hosted the after-party for the Manila Scramble 2010 (a kind of Amazing Race type of thing), it was kinda crazy but still fun.

Haven't really hosted much in the last few years, but I am open to hosting anytime, so just message & will sort things with you :)

Interests

Tequila. And Donald Duck, haha.

Music, Movies, and Books

David Sedaris books make me laugh out loud. Russell Brand is one smart bloke, read his "My Booky Wook" for new vocabulary words and a good laugh. "The Lovely Bones" is one of my all-time favorites. "The Time Traveler's Wife" is an awesome love story; book cannot compare to the movie. "The Little Prince" & "The Alchemist" are must-reads even for the non-readers, i think. [books are awesome -- especially when traveling. alone or otherwise.]

my movie is "City of Angels". stars Nick Cage & Meg Ryan.

my music is a lil bit of everything; depends on the mood i'm in :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

it's the simple random things: seeing someone offer a seat to an older person in the train/bus, the Free Hugs campaign amazes me, people smiling back at you after you smile at them, having an exceptional moment with someone vastly different from you but for some reason you've a connection with..

i want to see a miracle though. that's what i want.

Be kind. Always.
