Anywho,

How are we now? I took a bit of a break from the Couchsurfing world and I missed it a small bit so I'm back now. I've met loads of cool people on this and hope to meet more grand types in the future :)

I love to meet people from around the world, and this has proven to be a good place to do that. I'm happy to meet people to show them what Dublin and Ireland has to offer, whether its wandering around the town or a lot of Guinness, which really does taste better here :)

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to use Couchsurfing to meet people from around the world when they come to Dublin and Ireland and show them my city and country, while providing a happy welcome. Not to simply provide a generic, impersonal link like I sometimes see on boards when people ask for information and send them on their way.

This is what I think couchsurfing is for, and not to be abused just to see how cheaply you can get around the world. What I mean is, if you surf do it because you're interested in meeting people, not because you think it's a good way of saving 20 euro in a hostel.

I think couchsurfing has lost it's way a bit in the last couple of years with people using it for stupid reasons, but above is why I use it, and bring me back to why I signed up in the first place

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met people from around the world through couchsurfing and look forward to meeting more in the future. Sure isn't that what the whole thing is for anyway?

I like lots of movies, music and books, but none really describe my personality. Unless I was to be a guitar playing Jason Bourne with a wicked writing style and Shakespeare moustache... but i'm not... although I do play guitar.
