Pardon the intrusion...I am a 20-year veteran couchsurfer, and it's actually unlikely that I will attend this couchcrash, though I have been to three this year--New Orleans, Portland and Seattle. And I wanted to ask about something else.

I enjoy postcard exchanges on CS, and there used to be all kinds of activity and the many CS postcard exchange groups. I've been here long enough to remember those days. If there was STILL a lot of activity there, I would be posting there instead of here. But those groups are basically dead at this point.

So I wanted to invite any 'surfers attending this crash to receive a postcard from me, and also to send one in return. (Again, this has nothing to do with this crash, not really. I'm just posting this here because I knew 'surfers would see it here and possibly take me up on it, whereas no one even looks at the postcard exchange groups anymore.)

If you don't like that this is an off-topic post, don't worry; this will be the only time I post about it here. And if you'd like to exchange a postcard, feel free to send me a DM and we'll swap addresses. I'm interested in an exchange whether you're American or international, and I might even send you a nice card, not just a postcard. Don't post it here; I will probably not check this event again because, to repeat, I'm not attending. So if you post something for me here, I probably won't ever see it.
