About

In Summer 2017 some of us did an 8 days trip around Iceland & I have been yearning to repeat that for a while. This time it shall be 5 days and I have picked a few sites I would like us to see without rushing, driving all around the country. Dates are not currently set in stone, but my intention is to do it within June, close to Summer Solstice. I aim to take up to 8 people and include all the cost of accommodation, vehicle and fuel in it so it allows people to budget it. Iceland is one of the most expensive countries to visit but with group and experience, I should be able to get the cost reasonable. Please note, this trip is not for those chasing Northern Lights (you may still witness them) but the ideal time for that sort of pursuit is in the cold, dark, Winter months. I'm aiming for another trip with walks days where we have around 22/23 hours of day light. Yes to lovely horses, changing horizon views, natural steam baths etc Exciting times! More on it later, Ibad. photo: Seena, from our last trip

Update

Dear all

I'm one of those people who you have seen in the news that got stuck at travels due to this new 'war'. Now I'm back in UK and planning the rest of the year.

I'm afraid I will have to leave out this Iceland trip as there is not enough time to organise it but we will still do the Cheddar Gorge weekend, weekend of camping in Wales or Cornwall and last trip of the year, Petra/Jordan late Autumn.

The new CS App is a bit weird and I'm going to get used to of it before creating that event. But we are going to stay active on our WhatsAp group and fb, IG too with all the info.
