Come celebrate 17 years of Couchsurfing! That's right it's time for International CS Day! Saturday June 12th. This will be a new one and a repeat. First we will meet at the English Drive gate at East Rock Park in New Haven. It's across from the Rice Fields baseball diamonds. Look for the CS banner. Then we'll take a leisurely hike on the Giant's Steps Trail up the side of East Rock to take in the amazing views from up there. It's 285 steps up the side of a cliff basically! No worries handrails abound! Now for the repeat! After the hike it's a few minute drive to Bear's BBQ at The Stack for some of CT's best BBQ and some great outdoor lounging space to relax. Can't make the hike? Join us for lunch! Probably around 12:30 or so. I will update you when we are headed back down the steps and onto Bear's.
