Informazioni

If you're more interested in urban city life than old age historical monuments - that's the tour for you! Let me show you around the center of Tel-Aviv and present some of the urban spots that became an integral part of the city. We will stop at several spots around the city center and I'll talk, explain and give anecdotes about them. We will also stop for lunch at "Hakosem" legendary street food place. The tour will end at the Carmel Market, possibly with a drink at the not-less-legendary "HaMinzar" bar. Ideal for people who are in Tel Aviv for the first time, but also for anyone else who's interested in the curiosities of the city. This is the last time I'm giving this tour before moving to Paris, so last chance to catch it at least for a while * * * * * Feedbacks from recent tours: "Super interesting urban walking tour with Assaf, thank you so much for this experience that’s bring us closer to Tel Aviv. And yes that’s was the best pita schnitzel in the world!". Angie, Copenhagen "I am grateful for the opportunity to see another side of Tel Aviv and to hear the personal stories of a local who witnessed and experienced historical moments". Huraique, Puerto Rico Some of the spots on the tour: * Rabin's monument * The Duck statue at Masrik Square * Dizengoff Fountain * Sheinkin Street About the guide: I'm Assaf, 46, living in Tel Aviv for the past 25 years. Always loved the city and its strong urban vibe. Since I often use Couchsurfing when I'm abroad, including attending meet-ups and walking tours organized by Couchsurfers, I've decided to give something back to this wonderful community, after it gave me so much. Price: Free (not "Free" as in "Tip Based", but "Free" as in "%100 Free"). Registration: Not required. Just add your attendance to this event, so I will know there are enough people showing up. Time: Approx. 2.5 hours. Language: English. Meeting point: Rabin's memorial near Rabin's square. Right next to the entrance to Tel Aviv city hall - 69 Ibn Gabirol St. End point: Carmel Market. Distance: We will walk: about 3KM/1.8 Miles. Contact in case of questions: A private message here, E-mail at assafl100@gmail.com or WhatsApp: +972-54-4922889
