On June 14th & 15th, 2025, over 100 dragon boat crews from across North America and overseas will arrive at the Toronto Island. Twenty paddlers move in unison, combining strength and teamwork in a boat whose elaborate design originates from ancient China. Social groups and businesses alike embrace the sport because it builds camaraderie, forms connections and promotes healthy lifestyles. Races will begin at 9:00am and will continue throughout each day. Families can bring their children to enjoy the Asian Cultural Village and live performances. Grab a bite from Food Vendors, wander the Artisan Village and Marketplace featuring local products etc. New teams and individuals are welcome!
