Hello everybody Sunday 19 may I will organize a short hike combined with: 1. A picnic at our place 2. So if it is very rainy I will cancel, so check the event page time to time. Update: In case only of a bit of rain I will cancel the picnic and we will hike 2km extra. The hike will follow the same traject as my previous 'Hike and BBQ' Distance is variable of your choice 2.6 km Halle-Lembeek (if you had enough you can take the train back at Lembeek) If you join us for the picnic it is + 6km if you take the train back home from Lembeek or + 8,6 km if you take the train back to Halle So 2.6km, 8.8 km or 11,2 km The route Halle-Lembeek (2.6km) you have to do by yourself, I will pick you up at the cycling bridge of Lembeek This part you are hiking is located next to the channel Brussel-Charleroi, a nice place to hike and a part of de El-Camino De Santiago De Compostella Route Practical: Take the train from Brussel-Zuid 10:30 IC 3431 direction Binche, arrival at Halle at 10:40, Follow this route, very easy: https://goo.gl/maps/FLRRAeNmEMM2 Some important directions: When you come out of the railway station of Halle , cross the big square, go over the bridge direction centre, once crossed the bridge go immediately (!) left, follow the water of the channel until the small hiking and cycling bridge of Lembeek, it is 2.6 km, 30 min on foot I will pick you up at 11:15 at the cycling bridge of Lembeek Then we will go to our place to have a picnic: => Take something to eat/drink and a blanket, got some chairs, tables I will not place this time, because a busy week. (if somebody is willing to help me we can off course :) ) => Delhaize Lembeek is open until 12 if you forgot to take something. => After one hour or longer, depends of the weather and our mood, we will go back to Lembeek and visit the Arts festival.
