О мероприятии

Let’s create a group for people who would like to attend the World Nomad Games, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan, in the Issyk-Kul region, from 2nd to 6 September 2026, opening ceremony on 31 August in Bishkek. The idea is to connect solo travelers, share the costs of car rental and accommodation, and, of course, make new friends and connections. If you have a driving license (for foreigners, an international driving permit), that would be perfect! If you don’t drive, that’s fine too! For information about the Nomad Games, please check online, and feel free to ask questions here as well. While attending the Games, we can also explore the surrounding area and do other activities, such as moderate hikes, visiting the lakeside, and sightseeing. We can discuss and plan these activities together.

Opening Ceremony

I have my ticket for the opening ceremony but have a question perhaps someone local can help with. The instruction is that everyone must travel by bus to the stadium. Does this mean you cannot walk there? Also, can anyone provide information on how/ where to catch a bus as the link with the ticket doesn’t actually give any information just a link to a map. I am staying quite central in the city. Thank you.

Quick Update

Guys, Manas Airport to restrict passenger flights on August 31 after 9 am and September 1. If your flight during these dates, it might get cancelled.

There is news that from 1st to 5th Sept highway from Tamchy to Cholpon-Ata will be partly blocked (the highway to the games place) due to international summit and WNG delegation. So I recommend heading right after opening ceremony on 31 August in Bishkek to Cholpon-Ata or just skip it.

Accommodations are being fully booked and few options for car rentals. So you should better hurry up with your bookings.
