ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty easy going kinda girl, love good food, good drink and a good laugh!!
I caught the travel bug at the tender age of 15 when I saved up my McDonalds earnings and took myself to Malaysia, have since been to Thailand, New Zealand, Indonesia, China and through Europe and the UK.

Don't sweat the small stuff :) and its all small stuff.

Oscar Wilde once said ~ Life is to important to take seriously ~ Couldnt agree more.

I want to stretch my self to see life from as many directions, angles and perspectives as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a sensational time CS'ing through Europe and had the kindest and most beautiful hosts possible, you can't believe how good people really are till you are at the mercy of the kindness of strangers!!!

I slept on everything from floors to four poster beds during my travels, the common thread was the complete and utter unadulterated generosity of the people who hosted me. Everyone gave what they could and it was deeply appreciated.

Couch Surfers are incredibly generous, adventurous and benifecent people : )

Interests

I love going out to see anything live, bands at the local pub, the Melbourne Symphony or live stage shows. My sis is a stage actress so I love the theatre!!
I'm a country girl at heart, and still love hiking through the mountains at the base of the town I come from, the Grampians (or Gariwerd).
I also adore Melbourne and love to just wander and explore the streets and side allies finding new little bars, galleries and cafes...the kookier the better!!!
I'm into yoga and meditation as much as I am into spending a rowdy night at the pub with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music, especially if it's live and loud!! Anything from opera to metal is appreciated, except for country...twang twang, na.
History and biographies are favourites to read.

I love a good zombie flick, Amile, Fighclub, Napoleon Dynamite, American Psycho, Paris j'etaime, Ghost in the shell, Bladerunner, Galaxy Quest, Hercules Returns (go Aussie films!!), Brick Lane, Chocolat. Anything that makes me laugh is a winner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ate bugs in Thailand, rode rapids in NZ, climbed a mountain in Slovenia, walked the Great Wall of China with my Nana.........
