PHILOSOPHY

I lead by example following the words by Mahatma Ghandi:

"You have to be the change you wish to see in the world"

I live a lifestyle called Straight Edge which - at its core - means to live a life free of drugs (the most common being alcohol, nicotine and narcotics)

By making changes in our everyday lives we have a global impact.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My vision when I moved away from home in November 2007 was that my apartment would be a sanctuary not only for myself but for all my friends.

That dream became a reality.

Utilizing Couchsurfing since September 2008 I have taken that same concept and expanded it to make a global impact by connecting with people from all over the Planet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2008 I...

* Hosted Santa (from Latvia) and Pierluigi (from Italy) for one night. They arrived at 1 am on November 30 and then I showed them around Stockholm the following day.

* Hosted Lore (from Basque Country) and Katja (from Finland) for three days. They arrived at 1.30 pm on december 27 and left in the evening of december 29.

In 2009 I...

* Hosted Stano (from Slovakia) and Kiia (from Finland) for a total of 6 days. They arrived in the evening of January 3rd and left for the town of Sundsvall on January 8th.

They returned in the evening of January 13th and spent the night at my place before leaving for their home countries the following day.

* Hosted Thea, Robert, Heidi and Florenz (all from Germany) They arrived in the evening of March 13th and left on March 15th.

* Hosted Fabio and Vicky (from Spain) They arrived on April 28th and left on May 1st

* Hosted Christian (from Denmark) He arrived on June 2nd and left on June 5th

* Hosted Ingo (from Germany) He arrived on June 19th and left on June 24th

* Hosted Phillip (from Ukraine) and Nastia (from Russia) They arrived in the evening of July 2nd and left on July 4th

* Hosted Vika and Damjan (both from Slovenia) They came to Stockholm on September 14th and left on September 20th

* Hosted Alexandra and Stirling (both from Australia) They stayed in my home from October 9th and left on October 12th.

* Hosted Abishek (from India) He stayed in my home from the evening of October 22nd to the morning of October 26th.

* Hosted Inara (from Brazil) She arrived on January 31st and left on February 3rd

* Hosted Eduardo (from Brazil) and Nadine (from Germany) They stayed in my home for one night February 4th - February 5th

* Hosted Regina (Italy/Germany) and Jan (Chech Republic/Germany) They arrived on June 14 and left on June 17

* Hosted Dmitri (from Russia), Justena (from Poland) and Nastja (Russia/Poland) for two nights. They arrived on August 14 and left the following day.

* Hosted Piotr, Magdalena and Barbara (all from Poland) They arrived on February 10 and left on February 15

* Hosted Radoslaw and Anetta (both from Poland) They came to Stockholm on February 15 and left on February 17

* Hosted Julius, Laura, Mindaugas and Gentare (all from Lithuania) They arrived on April 20 and left on April 23

* Hosted Jenny (from England) for one night on May 26

* Hosted Natascha (from Australia) She arrived on June 8 and left on June 10.

* Hosted Morteza (from Iran) He got to my place on July 6 and left on July 9.

* Hosted Rino (from Holland) for one night. He joined me to my home after a Zeitgeist Movement Meeting on August 23

* Hosted Lorena (from Spain) and Emilio (from Argentina) They arrived on September 15 and stayed at my home until September 29

* Hosted Daniel Ryan (from Canada) He stayed in my home from October 29 to November 1

In 2012 I...

* Hosted Jules (from England) and Lucia (from Russia) for one night between October 22nd and October 23rd.

In 2013 I hosted...

* Julita and Magdalena from Poland. They arrived on May 2 and left during the morning of May 7.

* Fanny and Lucie (both from France). They arrived on Friday afternoon August 16 and left the following day.

In 2014 I have hosted...

* Amanda, Ryan and Jeffery from Hongkong and Taiwan. They arrived on September 26 and left on September 28.

* Iveta and Samuel (both from Slovakia) September 1st to September 3rd.
