ABOUT ME

Grietje:
I am a really positive girl. I don't like to be angry or sad. I like dancing, singing, doing something very stupid... I'm not afraid to do these things alone but I can't live a day without having somebody to talk to.

Steve:
I like to have fun and hang out with my friends. Just sitting in a bar and drink some beers or really go out and dance until the morning. I am a sporty guy, so I don't like to stay inside all day.

PHILOSOPHY

Grietje:
"Life Is like a Box of Chocolates... You Never Know What You're Gonna Get!"

Steve:
Our world is a wonderful place, but it gets even better if you discover it together.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Grietje:
I love to show people around. I really like hosting, my house is your house! I would do everything to make you feel at home.

Steve:
I like to invite people in our house. We both love to cook, a full meal or some tapas. After the meal we can play some board games or we can go to a bar and then I can learn you everything about the Belgian beers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Grietje:
My sister told me about this way of traveling. At first I was a bit sceptical about it but I trusted her and I tried it. It was my best desicion ever!!!
I have met very nice people and I also love to have people visiting my house.
So please people if you are in Belgium, don't forget to ask me for a couch.

Steve:
I learned all about CS thanks to Grietje. A few people have visited us and it was fantastic. It's so nice to learn all about other cultures and other people.

Grietje:
I love cooking and trying special new things in other country's.
I like dancing, laughing with my friends, shopping without buying anything, getting really drunk, ...
If you have a cool hobby, please tell or teach me. I am open for everything!

Steve:
I love food and because Grietje loves to cook, this is a fantastic combination.
I like to sport, actually I like every team sport. I play soccer, I am the goalkeeper. Since this year I bought a racing bike and I have driven the tour of Flanders.

I don't have a fav. genre of music.
When I'm sad I like to listen to ALicia Keys, Beyonce,..
When I'm happy you see me dancing on a cool pop song.
When I am mad, I love 2 hear a song of Pink.

I am always interested in great songs I haven't heared before.

Steve:
I like the books of Dan Brown. It's relaxing to read before you go to sleep.
I am not a big music fan, but I always like good party songs. red hot chili peppers, black eyed peas, david guetta, swedish house maffia, ...
I like to watch a good action movie or thrillers. For a sunday afternoon or in the cinema, I like to watch the Harry Potter movies or Narnia.
