About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Expand my horizons in every direction, learn about life by sharing life!

ABOUT ME

Hard to say ALL about me, but at least I can say that I'm a tough old Norwegian, can-do most things, expert in agriculture, cow-milking and shepherding. I love to be out in nature, learn new arts and trades, meet new people to discuss deep philosophy, swim, dance, eat, drink, work, flirt, laugh. I love life!

PHILOSOPHY

Well, that depends on which day you ask me. Today I agree with the old Buddhist saying: Nothing in life is to be taken seriously except joy!

Music, Movies, and Books

Addicted to reading. Currently reading 'On Agriculture' by Cato (written 2150 years ago), 'My story' (Miriam Makeba), 'Walden, or Life in the Woods' (Henry D. Thoreau) and rereading 'Love in the time of Cholera (G.G.Marquez)I also love music and movies (but there are no cinema in Oppstryn..)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The memory of such things changes with time. The latest amazing thing was climbing onto the mountain just above my family farm, which I have been looking at these 50 years but never been to. 1300 very steep meters up and the view was ..well - you must come and see for yourself!

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes, I will partcipate in the CS University! I can teach a lot of things: living in nature, tending and understanding animals, how to use wild-growing plants and how to garden, making wine from fruit and wild berries and much more. Want to learn: tropical agriculture (how to grow banana!) and everything else possible.
