I'm a recent nursing school graduate still looking for that illusive RN hospital position in NYC. I love life and find humor in just about everything. Former gymnast and springboard diver. Recent triathlete (well, I did one. ha!). Singer/songwriter.

PHILOSOPHY

hmmmm. A lot in life is about the choices we make and what motivates those choices. I do my best to make my choices based on what I think is good and healthy and best for everyone concerned.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to be a springboard and platform diver, and when I look back at tapes of my doing that I often wonder how I managed to not kill myself!

I recently went to the philipines and stayed in Norther Palawan (one of many chains of islands there). It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I hope to return one day.

Teach, Learn, Share

Skills to share: Coffee Making. I've been barista (espresso drink maker) for more the 6 years in Seattle, NYC and San Francisco. I truly appreciate and love drinking and creating excellent coffee drinks.
I'm also a registered nurse and I love encouraging and empowering people to take charge their own health, be resourceful, and ultimately be proactive about caring for their bodies in way that meet immediate medical needs as well as (and just as importantly) prevent future illness.

Things I'd like to learn: There's so much. Languages is a big one. I speak basic French, but would love to expand my vocabulary and be able to speak more fluently. Same is true with Spanish.
Food! I'm always interested in learning new and interesting way to prepare delicious foods from all over the world.
