ABOUT ME

After studying physiotherapy in Perth at Curtin Uni for a year and working as a physiotherapist in Osnabrück, Germany, I am a graduate student at the University of Giessen. However, life lead me to Hamburg, where I am currently doing research.

Yes, I am a physiotherapist but no, I do not give massages.

I'm passionate about playing softball, travelling the world, adventuring, exploring, meeting friends and getting to know people from all over the world. It's about seeing where life takes you, experiencing something amazing when you least expect it. I love profound conversation, discussing and sharing thoughts.

I try to see a friend in every person I meet - and would like to be seen as one by others.

Oh, and one very important thing: I really don't like smalltalk.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started CS with a friend traveling Beijing and met some amazing people there. So I decided to become a part of this community - to create a world without borders.

Interests

I'm interested in all the beautiful secrets nature is holding ready. The night skies, the birds' chirping after a long winter, the smell of an early morning's breeze. The taste of happiness, feeling untamed, independent and free sometimes, caged in and restrained the next moment.
I want to know what makes us to what we are, what society means and why it is so hard to be honest sometimes. I am interested in looking beyond the walls of pretense we build around ourselves.
I want to know if there's a difference between life and dreams. Between limitation and mind.

Religion, friendship, social status, education, food, music, meanings, thoughts - name it and I am probably interested in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing? There are so many things I am grateful for... Seeing water flow upstream in Karijini National Park, skydiving in Byron Bay, hitchhiking from Madison, WI to Denver, CO, stargazing in Oman, cliff jumping in Sweden at night, just to name a few.
