ABOUT ME

Aloha! My love of travel led me to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth - Hawaii! I have been living on Oahu since June of 2012 when I took the leap to leave the fast paced lifestyle of Los Angeles and moved to paradise! Since I've moved here I have started working 100% for myself by making beautiful feather headdresses as well as accessories and jewelry. I also paint and draw and sell my work online too! You can see some examples of my work at http://www.facebook.com/artfromtheheART On days that I'm not making art, I like to go to the beach, drive around the island and beach hop, hike, take boat excursions, go on adventures, cook & just about anything else that comes up that involves a great time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only met a handful of people through couchsurfing by going out to coffee and a meetup and it was a great experience! I would love to eventually host in the future and be a part of somebodies experience in beautiful Oahu! I am going to find ways to participate so I can further fill out this section <3

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I've found CS, everybody has been very helpful and informative with any questions I've posted on the forum. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great and wonderful community and I look forward to surfing & meeting up with some amazing people on my future travels!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well for one - Burning man! If you've been there, right off you know just going is an amazing experience you will never forget! Also notable: I conquered my fear of swimming by getting my scuba diving certification in Malaysia!
