ABOUT ME

I'm an open minded student at Cegep de Saint-Laurent in Montreal. There, I study human sciences. I like travelling, playing music (guitar, piano, bass), reading french litterature and philosophy, and meeting new people. Later, I would like to be teacher in University. I speak a tetraplegical english but I'm working on it.

PHILOSOPHY

Je ne pense pas que l'on puisse avoir une philosophie personnelle dans la mesure où la plupart des paradigmes que nous adoptons se résument à des schèmes déjà existants. On n'invente pas grand chose.

Cela dit, j'aime beaucoup Nietzsche et Schopenhauer dans leurs manières de concevoir le monde. C'est-à-dire que j'aime l'idée d'une redéfinition des valeurs conventionnelles dans une perspective d'évolution de l'Homme.

La philosophie orientale a aussi un petit quelque chose d'attrayant pour moi.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

J'aime beaucoup le concept couchsurfing. C'est un bon moyen de voyager économiquement et de rencontrer des gens au courant des événements ayant lieu à l'endroit qu'ils habitent. J'habite malheureusement toujours chez mes parents ce qui m'empêche d'héberger des voyageurs. Néanmoins je suis très au courant de toute l'activité montréalaise et suis disposé à en éclairer certains si besoin il y a.

I really like the couchsurfing concept. It's nice to have cheap trip and meet interesting people who can introduce you to the place where they live if they have the time. Unfortunately, I still live at my parent's and cannot host anybody. Otherwise, I know a lot of the nice and underground spots in Montreal and can introduce the city to anybody who would like it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

J'ai utilisé Couchsurfing lors de mon voyage en Europe en 2011 et mon expérience en fut particulièrement positive.

Interests

As I said before, I'm enjoying arts of all kinds. I play guitar since 10 years, I play piano since 5 years and I to be in a band, playing ukulele, bass, theremin, etc. I also really like philosophy in general, more specifically the metaphysical branch. I also read a lot, mostly poetry.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pour les films, j'aime beaucoup Almodovar, Lars von trier, Michel Gondry, Tarantino, etc.

Pour la musique, j'écoute beaucoup de jazz (Brubeck, Davis, Armstrong, ect.) et de musique indie (Fleet Foxes, Patrick Watson, Half Moon Run, etc.)

Pour les livres j'apprécie tout particulièrement Ainsi parlait Zarathoustra, tout ce qui a été écris par Hermann Hesse, Alessandro Baricco, Baudelaire, Rimbaud, Daragon, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

J'aime bien la plongée sous-marine en mers. Je trouve ça magnifique.

Teach, Learn, Share

En guitare (électrique, classique ou acoustique) je peux être un bon professeur. J'en connais aussi assez pour conseiller un débutant en piano.

I can teach electric, classic and acoustic guitar and I could teach to piano beginners.
