About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to pick up every languages on the planet Earth so I can conquer the world. Or to just have an excuse to walk up to someone and ask, "Sorry, but are you -inserts nationality-" and then throw out every vocabulary I know in the said language to make a new friend.

You'll never know my real motive now.

ABOUT ME

~ABOUT TO FINISH SCHOOL AND LEAVE UK, BUT BEFORE I DO, I'M DOING A BACKPACKING TRIP IN EUROPE FOR AN EPICALLY POOR PERSON. PLEASE HELP ME FULFIL MY DREAM~

Like almost everyone else, I have this insatiable wanderlust. Sometimes I book my tickets two nights before the flight, pack and go. That's pretty much the prequel of how I ended up in Bali idling by myself and tried doing soul-searching but ended up losing my soul and body to the lifestyle and warmth that the island embodies. Thinking that I got lost in a corner of Southeast Asia only to find the best and the cheapest street food you can ever imagine. And then again, lazing on the Australian beaches and getting lost in the urban jungle of European architecture.

I was once a miserable architecture student (don't get me wrong, I love my art and design and all that matters) who then realised that life is too short to not be happy, or who I am. So I went on a hiatus and got in touch with the world, and myself. Now, I'm just a happy (mostly, unless I'm hungry) and inquisitive tiny human bean who writes about things and can't wait to overdose this world with my architect penmanship and funky sense of humour.

That being said, I like having no plans for most. Just as much as I like little things in life, like a puppy looking at you and wagging its tail, a cup of warm tea on a rainy afternoon, idling, an error-free text message, lying down on my bed because I wake up before time, an unexpectedly good book or indie film, every "please" and "thank-you" when I hold the door for someone, or when someone holds the door for me. I like kindness, I like passion, I like adventure, I like solitude, I like differences but yet I adore like-minded people. All in all, I like ironies.

I also like some bigger things in life. Like dinosaurs. I definitely like dinosaurs.

PHILOSOPHY

Live hard, but try not to die.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

What I absolutely love most about traveling is meeting people. We meet, we travel, and then we might bid our good-byes. But I love the idea of once sharing such moments with people and our stories live on, perhaps halfway around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The firework across the sky above the palace during my first visit to Disneyland.

Every moment is amazing to me. Every moment is so precious, I wouldn't exchange them for anything. Apart from missing flights, and having use sign language to borrow an airport security's phone to seek help, passing out on the streets, getting lost at 3am in the rain... But hey! A little turbulence during my trip makes GREAT stories for the future.
