Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

since I can't sponsor anyone on our couch at the moment, I'm open to meeting up with people for a meal or a drink (or two), giving useful tips to anyone interested in traveling to the Philippines (or someplace else I've visited - I'll try my best to remember).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

unofficial couchsurfing story: 2 kind ladies on 2 separate islands in Batanes graciously welcomed my sister, our friend, and me into their respective homes - even though they had only met us at that time.

Music, Movies, and Books

no specific genres for any of these categories. i seem to run the whole gamut. Some examples, anyway: movies - LOTR, The Untouchables, Zoolander, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. music - Broadway musicals, Sting, Black Eyed Peas, mostly danceable stuff. books/graphic novels - Sandman, Dragonlance, V for Vendetta, Strands of Starlight.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

being "served" on a tray by hefty ladies as a child bride (in full regalia) in a mock ceremony in morocco; going on an archaeological expedition in Mindoro and actually being able to dig up a human skeleton
