CURRENT MISSION

I will be in Singapore area from May 1 -12 and would like to meet up with some local people from Singapore and Malaysia for off-the-beaten-path activities.

ABOUT ME

I am a positive-minded and flexible individual who enjoys seeing new places and meeting new people. I love the simple beauty of nature, and am drawn more to natural areas than the bustle of cities. However, I do like to experience the fun of nightlife and live music, and I love trying the variety of local cuisines. Not so much into shopping.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is pay it forward, and everything happens for reason. I believe that each and every person I meet has a special place in my journey of life, and that listening and paying attention to what others are saying are extremely important skills to have.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a lover of all good music, especially live. A good live band can make any music fun. My faves are acoustic folk and Spanish guitar, live jazz, rock, alternative, roots/reggae, R&B, underground hip-hop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once drove with my 8-year-old from Albuquerque up through Colorado and Yellowstone to Glacier National Park in Montana, across to the west coast (Bellingham) and down Highway 1. I can give you a number of references for nice places to camp on the beach, etc. I have also been to Ireland and around the UK and Scottish Highlands, and
I saw Manchester United play Chelsea at Manchester Stadium in 1999.

I can give people detailed information about hiking in New Mexico and Colorado. There are so many beautiful places to explore, from hot springs, volcanoes, badlands, desert trails, 14'ers, you name it. Feel free to contact me for any info about traveling in the southwest.
