I'm Hiro, and I'm currently preparing my portfolio to hopefully start studying costume design/art later this year. I'm a climate justice activist, which is currently taking in most of my time. I like to travel a lot, explore new places and learn about different cultures.

Music:
I listen to a lot of different genres, but my current favorites are Radiohead, Half Moon Run and Queen.

Movies:
The Greatest Showman, Big Hero 6 and Rise of the Guardians.

Books:
That's hard to choose, my favorite books change currently and there are so many heartwarming and inspiring books out there. But here are some of my current favorites:
My favorite book series are "The Raven Cycle" by Maggie Stiefvater and the "Magnus Chase" series by Rick Riordan. My favorite stand alone books are "We Are The Ants" by Shaun David Hutchinson and "Carry On" by Rainbow Rowell.
I also have a strange Harry Potter obsession, without actually liking the character Harry Potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To quote my best friend: "You always inspire and motivate people. You seem like you always do what you feel is right (and yes i consider this amazing), you try to change yourself and suceed and I dont really know what you want me to answer to this question because what means "amazing" anyway?"

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a weirdly strong interest in the science of human interactions and language. I can talk for ours about how different languages form a writing style that is distinct to each language and why translated books always seem to sound wrong to me. I also have strong feelings about diversity in modern media and how that affects our society.
