CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy life.....spent the first 50 yrs of my life growing up, raising my kids and loving every minute of it. I am now going to enjoy time with my husband, my grown kids and grandkids, traveling (near and far), enjoying every minutes of this!

ABOUT ME

I am a wife of one, mother of 4, grandmother of 4 and am trying to learn to slow down and enjoy the life that I have been blessed with. I love to be outside, sit by a campfire, spend the day fishing or shooting photos, walking/hiking/biking.....actually anything outdoors. I'm on my third career--mother, EMT, now ER nurse--work hard and play even harder. I love to laugh but love to hear my kids and grandchildren laugh even more.
We are currently building our dream home, working on becoming self-sufficient and living off-grid. We moved out of Cody, onto 70 acres under the Beartooth Mtns. We are building our house ourselves and constantly adding to our petting zoo. Once our house is done, we plan to build 2-3 tiny homes/guest cabins that will welcome travelers who want to experience life as we live it. We don't have the room to offer surfers the luxury that we once offered under our roof, but for those who don't mind a nice floor, garage or putting up a tent under the stars, you are welcome to join us.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We started hosting because our daughter suggested it. We live in a very popular vacation spot so could probably have a surfer every day. I have no problem cooking dinner for our guests, but I work out of town so many times it's just my husband that gets to enjoy the company of surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even tho we have not actually 'surfed' yet, we so enjoy having people from all over the world in our home. We now have a world map hanging on the wall and every surfer puts a stick pin in the spot they are from. Come add to our collection!
