ABOUT ME

Hello Fellow couchsurfers, my names Kev and i'm a newly adopted citizen of Australia from the England, nice to meet you. Now residing in Oz I'm fully embracing the Aussie lifestyle of sun, sea and scouners :P

I moved here from the UK 4 years ago for adventure and to enjoy new experiences, I now call it home and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Living the dream I've built a great life here and love life, I'm passionate about living life to the fullest and keeping a positive attitude even when life does through it's challenges at you.

I'm not a party animal anymore but will say a like a good beer but would rather a BBQ and beer pong night then out at a club. I play guitar, love going to the gym and spend most weekends at the beach. I like to laugh and if I'm not laughing i'm probably asleep...If you can't handle sarcasm keep your distance!

So i'm pretty passionate about attitude and the right thinking. I believe happiness is determined by your outlook and paradigm of the world and how you react to it and your values. I'm not religious but i think the Buddha teaches the right way to live.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While in Oz I've hand dozens of people stay with me from best friends for a month, travellers from my home town for 2 months while they saved money to keep travelling and friends of friends relatives who want a sofa for a few nights.

I'm extending my help to support those travelers that need a few nights free accommodation and a taste of feeling like being back home with a good shower, Foxtel TV and a wide screen TV to chill with a good DVD.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some really cool people stay and it's nice to hear there experiences, share some experiences and show them around or take them down the coast for the day.

I've only had good experiences so far and that encourages me to keep active as a host.

For me it was a big move to Australia from the UK, it was a big thing for me leaving the family but a life changing experience.

Recruitment - Happy to help people find work, update their resume, etc
Cooking - I'm no masterchef but know some simple impressive dinners.
Computers - I'm handy with Computers so can speed them up, update ipods, movies etc
