Overview
About Me
I’m originally from Germany but for over 15 years now I’ve been living, studying, and working abroad — always curious to discover new places, meet new people, and soak up different cultures.
For the last 8 years, I’ve called Playa del Carmen my home, but now it feels like the right time for a new adventure back in Europe. This summer, I’m exploring a few cities that might become my next home — and I love getting to know a place through the eyes of locals, not just as a tourist.
I’m easy-going, respectful, and love good conversations, spontaneous adventures, and sharing stories over coffee or a glass of wine.
I truly believe it’s better to regret doing something than to regret never trying at all — so here I am, hoping to connect with kind people and create memories wherever I go.
Can’t wait to meet you! 🌞✨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, traveling has never just been about ticking off places — it’s about the people I meet along the way. Couchsurfing is the best way to see a city through the eyes of someone who truly lives it.
I love sharing stories, laughter, and simple everyday moments that you just don’t find in a hotel. I believe every couch, kitchen table, and walk around the neighborhood can turn strangers into friends. ✨🌍💛
Interests
I love traveling and exploring — whether it’s wandering through city streets or diving beneath the waves. The ocean is my happy place, and anything to do with the sea, beaches, or underwater adventures makes me feel alive.
I’m passionate about meeting new people, swapping stories, and enjoying spontaneous nights out for drinks and laughter. I’m also a big fan of festivals and electronic music — dancing under the stars with good people is my idea of freedom!
And I’m absolutely obsessed with good food — trying new dishes, hunting for local gems, or cooking together always makes me smile. 😄✨🌊🍷🍽️🎶

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to work as a translator for books the past 5 years, so I’ve been reading a loooot 🙃
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most unforgettable chapters of my life was working as a diving instructor in the breathtaking Maldives. Guiding people through crystal-clear waters, swimming alongside turtles, rays, and colorful reefs every day — it felt like living in a dream. Teaching others to breathe underwater and see a whole new world was pure magic, and I still carry a piece of that ocean calm with me wherever I go. 🐠🌊✨
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe the best days are the ones spent exploring new places and meeting people who open your mind a little wider. I love to share stories from my travels, swap life lessons over good coffee, and maybe teach you a bit of German or some diving tips if you’re curious!
And I’m always eager to learn anything new — from local recipes to hidden spots in your city. Let’s trade experiences and make the most of the time we have together! 🌍✨
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good vibes, genuine curiosity, and a big smile — always! I love meaningful conversations, cooking a meal together (or at least helping in the kitchen!), and sharing stories from my adventures around the world.
