ABOUT ME

I'm positive about life. But what is positive? Positive is about seeing opportunities in everything.

Love to travel and meet people from different cultures. There different views on things can open your mind and enrich your life.

I wrote a small story about my life. So you have a impression in what I actually do.

Joris Zevenbergen is the name. My last name means seven mountains. Great last name isnt it! Anyway... I was born in Rotterdam. I went to highschool like alomost every western kid.

After highschool I wanted to explore the world and get out of the daily routine. You know what I mean. I signed up for a working holiday program in Spain. After an amazing month in Madrid (for a language course), I spent 5 months on the Canary Islands. My job was an entertainer in a hotel! Great job, great people, great weather! After that I got the opportunity to go to Canada and work in a hotel there. I took the opportunity and had an unforgettable 6 months there. Beautiful country, nice people, great friendships!

After I returned in the Netherlands I started social sciences at University of Amsterdam. I've got my own place in Amsterdam which is available for couch surfers :).

I love traveling. It was hard to decide to start a study in Amsterdam or to go continue traveling. I choose to study. Now I try to feed the traveler in me by traveling in the holidays. Hopefully I'll be on the road soon!

PHILOSOPHY

There's a natural mystic blowing through the air. If you listen carefully now you will hear.

Everyone is born at an other time, another place, from an other mother. Everyone lives in a different situation with different opportunities. You should see all the opportunities YOU have and don't be afraid to make the most out of them!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the summer I'm going to travel in Asia with my brother and we would like to surf. My couch is available as well. Its a nice opportunity to meet inspiring people.
