ABOUT ME

Hello all of you Couchsurfers! My name is Giedrė, I'm 19 years old and I am a Lithuanian, living in the second biggest city in Lithuania, Kaunas. Right now I am a 2nd year student in the Kaunas University of Medicine (Kauno Medicinos Universitetas - KMU) or now known as Lithuania's University of Health Sciences (Lietuvos Sveikatos Mokslų Universitetas - LSMU), and I am studying odontology (dentistry).
I am a dancer - I dance Lithuanian folk dances for 5 years now and I am a member of my university's folk esemble - "Ave Vita".
I am living with my mom and dad but, I guess, I'll move out soon. I am the youngest child in my family - I have an older sister, who is 25 years old and she's studying vet medicine. We fight a lot, that's obvious :). We also have two pets: a dog Rubis, who is 10 years old now, and a cat Mikas, who is 11 years old. The cat beats up the dog :D

PHILOSOPHY

All for one, one for himself :D:D No no, I'm only joking :D My philosophy is that Everything comes to an end, doesn't matter if it's good or bad.

For now, while I'm still living in my parents' house, I will not be able to accomodate travellers, unfortunately. But I'd really love to meet them, show them around my city and just have a coffee.

兴趣

I am all crazy about folk dancing, this hobby of mine inspired me to get to know other cultures as well. I love reading, it's my best way of relaxation. I like going on long walks. I'm interested in cars, a lot! Well, of course, I'm not that interested like a boy would be but I am a huge fan of the famous British show 'TopGear'.

Well, to be honest, I like every book I read mostly ;)
