I’m gay and enjoy going to gay and nudist-friendly spaces, and I’ve already hosted all kinds of people: straight single men and women, straight couples, lesbians, and gay people. I almost hosted a Canadian family once, but I was already hosting a Mexican woman at the time and couldn’t host them, unfortunately.
I don’t confuse Couchsurfing with dating platforms, even though I’m not naive enough to think that different types of interactions can’t happen—just like they can happen anywhere else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

🇬🇧I hosted the British YouTuber Niko Omilana. At 10:39 PM on Apr 5, 2025, I received his request through the profile of an Algerian-Canadian couchsurfer he met in Antarctica, without knowing it would be Niko who was coming. At 4:00 AM on Apr 6, 2025, he arrived at my place. He stayed in Rio until the night of Apr 7, 2025.
When the documentary he made is released, you might see an episode set in Rio de Janeiro, in which I may appear.

Teach, Learn, Share

🇬🇧 I can teach Spanish and Portuguese. I consider my Spanish level to be advanced, between B2 and C1. If you have no knowledge of either of these languages, the teaching/learning process can involve objects, images, and gestures. If you already have some knowledge of either one, that’s a step forward.
I can prepare quick and easy dishes, sweets, cakes, drinks, share household tasks, etc. I once hosted Wilkin twice, a Dominican who lives in Colombia, because he was a true partner. We shared food expenses and household chores. The first time he stayed almost 2 months, and the second time 1 month. That helped me improve my Spanish a lot, not to take away from others I hosted for shorter periods and with whom I still communicate on WhatsApp, mostly in Spanish.
I’d love to have the same opportunity to host a native speaker of the other languages I’m interested in, just like I had with Wilkin.
I enjoy gardening, although I still don’t know much about it. I’m interested in learning.
I know how to give massages, and many men and women who have experienced them approved, even though I’m not a professional. I also enjoy receiving them. I’d love to learn techniques from someone who is a professional.
I can give you a lot of information that you won’t easily find on the internet—or that maybe doesn’t even exist online—about Rio de Janeiro, including all kinds of places, even gay ones. Tips on how to save money that you might not discover on your own, or might take a long time to find out.

🇪🇸Puedo enseñar español y portugués. Considero que mi nivel de español es avanzado, entre B2 y C1. Si no tienes ningún conocimiento de ninguno de estos idiomas, la enseñanza/el aprendizaje puede hacerse con objetos, imágenes y gestos. Si ya tienes algún conocimiento de uno de los dos, eso ya es un paso adelante.
Puedo preparar platos rápidos y fáciles, dulces, pasteles, tragos, compartir tareas domésticas, etc. Llegué a hospedar dos veces a Wilkin, un dominicano que vive en Colombia, porque era un verdadero compañero. Compartíamos los gastos de comida y las tareas del hogar. La primera vez se quedó casi 2 meses y la segunda 1 mes. Con eso pude mejorar mucho mi español, sin quitarle mérito a los demás que hospedé por menos tiempo y con quienes sigo hablando por WhatsApp, sobre todo en español.
Me gustaría tener la misma oportunidad de recibir a un nativo de los otros idiomas que me interesan, como la tuve con Wilkin.
Me gusta la jardinería, aunque aún no sé mucho sobre el tema. Estoy interesado en aprender.
Sé dar masajes y muchos de los hombres y mujeres que los probaron los aprobaron, a pesar de que no soy profesional. También me gusta recibir. Me encantaría aprender técnicas con alguien que sea profesional.
Puedo darte mucha información que no encontrarás fácilmente en internet, o que quizás ni siquiera esté en la red, sobre Río de Janeiro, sobre lugares de todo tipo, incluso gays. Consejos para ahorrar que quizás no descubras solo o que te tomen mucho tiempo encontrar.

🇫🇷 Je peux enseigner l’espagnol et le portugais. Je considère que mon niveau d’espagnol est avancé, entre B2 et C1. Si tu ne connais aucune de ces deux langues, l’apprentissage peut se faire à travers des objets, des images et des gestes. Si tu as déjà quelques connaissances dans l’une des deux, c’est déjà un pas en avant.
Je peux préparer des plats rapides et faciles, des desserts, des gâteaux, des cocktails, partager les tâches ménagères, etc. J’ai hébergé deux fois Wilkin, un Dominicain qui vit en Colombie, car c’était un véritable partenaire. Nous partagions les dépenses alimentaires et les tâches de la maison. La première fois, il est resté presque 2 mois et la deuxième fois, 1 mois. Cela m’a permis d’améliorer beaucoup mon espagnol, sans enlever le mérite des autres que j’ai hébergés pour moins longtemps et avec qui je continue à échanger sur WhatsApp, surtout en espagnole.
J’aimerais avoir la même opportunité d’accueillir un natif d’une des autres langues qui m’intéressent, comme je l’ai eue avec Wilkin.

Je peux te donner beaucoup d’informations que tu ne trouveras pas facilement sur internet, ou qui n’y existent peut-être même pas, sur Rio de Janeiro, y compris des lieux de tous types, même gays. Des astuces pour économiser que tu ne découvrirais peut-être pas seul ou qui te prendraient beaucoup de temps à trouver.
