Overview
About Me
(Please keep in mind that this is not a dating app!)
I am a walking paradox (though, aren’t we all that). An extroverted introvert, optimistic pessimist, romantic realist, materialistic hippie, deep and shallow. Wine, late nights and smoky rooms one day, green tea, yoga and morning sun the next. Raves and monasteries, fine dining and dumpster diving. Trying to enjoy the variety of life :)
I am often calm and value my peace, but I also love to go out, socialize, meet new people and get to know them well! Nothing beats deep and rambling conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To give back.
Interests
I get interested in things very easily and finding out random information on random things is my number one hobby.
My interests include reading & literature, meditation & yoga, hiking & nature, art in various forms, learning, social work, ”development” studies, philosophy, and being a flâneur (basically just wandering around).
I follow (mostly) vegan lifestyle and would love to become a better cook. My all time favourite food is fruit salad and a really good cup of espresso makes my heart beat faster (literally and figuratively!)
As a (former) social worker, I’m always interested in communal development, social movements, forms of activism and social security systems in countries that I am visiting. Also always happy to discuss those and hear your insights on how they are or should be.
Recently have gotten pretty into bouldering. I’m still such a rookie - insights & tips are welcome!

Music, Movies, and Books
While I still had a permanent place, it was always dominated by piles of books, yet it has always been impossible to pick a favourite. If I really had to name one, right now it would be Kundera’s The Unbearable Lightness of Being - as cliché as that might sound.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Countless of things in life are amazing.
Besides, I like the idea that the best is always yet to come and dislike the idea that people are defined by what they’ve done rather than by who they are becoming.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sharing is caring :)
I love learning, surprise me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
At least company, it’s always nice to share thoughts and ideas. I’m happy to help with anything that I can. People tend to tell me I’m a good listener as well.
