About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have the time of my life. Sounds easy enough, right? Well I'm going for it. I want to see the world. I love my hometown and I seem to love it more each time I return home from a crazy adventure. Work hard, play hard. Be happy!

ABOUT ME

Sweet. Wacky. Goofy. Smart. Confident. Outgoing. Fun. Spontaneous. Friendly. Dancer. WRITER. Crafter. Tennis-ball-hitter. Walker. Biker. Schmooser. One-woman-media-circus.

PHILOSOPHY

"COURAGE is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistenly without courage."
-Maya Angelou

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a surfer. I've helped entertain friend's surfers. I'm not in a position right now to host, but I hope soon I'll get my own place and do this more often. I think it is only right to return the favor by either hosting some newbie at my place or at least taking them to coffee and showing them around. You get what you give. I want to travel the world and I want to help others do the same. Would it be too beauty-queen-ish to say something like "world peace"?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some great people that have stayed on my friend's couches. Their lives seem so adventurous and exciting! I like the idea that we all look out for each other when we need a hand. This one guy just visited my friend from San Jose and we took him around town to the boardwalk and the coffee shop and even took him out to karaoke at the local brewery! It was fun showing someone around in a "local" kind of way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ate dinner at the top of the Space Needle in Seattle. I saw the whole city spinning around me. The stars and the night sky and the city lights. A beautiful thing for a small town girl to see.

Teach, Learn, Share

1. You take yourself with you. Everywhere you go, there you are.

2.Reasons or results.

3. Life shrinks or expands in the proportion to one's courage.

4. Always be good to your friends and family. They are the ones that will always be there for you when you need them. Show them you care.
