I am myself annoyed I have to put this right up front but even though it already says on my profile that I prefer female guests I still get an awful lot of requests from cishet-male couchsurfers. Spare us the time and effort, guys, I don't accept cishet-male guests, that's for my own safety so you have no reason to get annoyed when I decline your requests.
I'm however 100% queer- and trans-friendly. I imagine it's not easy to find a safe couch if you're queer and/or trans so feel free to send me a request.

Anyway.... back to me:

I'm a very funny person - at least people use to laugh when I'm around and I hope they laugh with me and not at me :D

I love to speak English, and though I haven't had much chance to do so since I left school I do all my best to keep my skills alive.

I work part time at a tea parlour where I not only sell nice teas but also serve to our guests. I have a great boss and when she's on holiday the shop's basically my second living room. Also I work in an antique book shop where I mainly do research and take care of the online orders.

I try to enjoy life even though it's sometimes grim. There's always a reason to laugh and something to look forward to. If there isn't something great ahead one has to find something to aim for - it's easy if you only want it.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I live in Berlin Wedding which is in the north of the city. You can easily get from here to downtown Berlin and Wedding itself is kinda becoming cool at the moment so there are some nice bars around.

I made a lot of good experiences with couchsurfing in the UK in 2013 and maybe I can give some of that back.

My favourite movies? American Beauty, Some like it hot, The Usual Suspects. Also very fond of the silent movie era, especially Chaplin.
Music? Genesis is my favourite band. I also love Elton John, The Beatles, Jethro Tull, Yes, Kate Bush, Depeche Mode... I guess everything from the 50s to the 80s. But also some new artists like Adele, Paloma Faith, Muse and Keane.
Books? The Little Prince! The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Making History (and every other novel by Stephen Fry).
