About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My life's mission is to live in the moment as much as I possibly can. I came to Germany in the first place to pursue my studies and at the same time to see the world. So far it has been a great experience and I tend to add on to that.

ABOUT ME

This is always the tricky part. About my character, the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me is, "I can't imagine anyone not being able to get along with you, it's just impossible". You decide for yourself when you get to surf in my humble abode. At the same time, I've had my fair share of friends taking advantage of my kindness, so as a fair warning, don't even try to push it ;)

I'm a believer (Christian) and generally a pretty open minded chap. All my friends can vouch on that. I'm very easy going, but straight forward and direct. Although I typically make rough plans beforehand, I try to be spontaneous at the same time too. I'm very respectful of people, that is until they give me reasons not to.

I was chatting with my good roomie, Nacho, about travelling and exchanging experiences and he was the one who introduced me to couchsurfing.org. So here I am now with my own profile!

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem!!! It's totally ok to make plans, but don't just take your time making plans, instead take actions. Don't be afraid of failures and mistakes, because it's it's overrated.
Take that course you've always wanted to, start that project that's always been in your mind, travel to that city which you've always dreamed of, and of course finally tell that someone your true feelings.
But don't misunderstand, the aim is to live a balanced and fulfilling life with lesser regrets later on!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Based on my own travelling experience, it's great to have just a couch to crash on while on short trips. So I'm more than happy to offer my couch/place up for couchsurfers, whenever possible. With this new opportunity, I'm definitely looking forward to couchsurf and meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've only couchsurfed at my own friends' places and it has been very convenient for obvious reasons. I've yet to couchsurf through this website, but I'm already pretty excited.

Interests

Sports and music are big parts of my life. I play basketball and badminton and when I'm not on the court, I'm mostly in the gym and from time to time on the tracks.
I mainly play the drums, but I own a guitar too.
My friends are dear to me, so we tend to hang out a lot. When the crowd is right, I'm very open to suggestions.
I love the idea and experience of travelling, so I travel whenever possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two significant experiences that has molded my outlook on life so far. First being, how my dad fought and recovered from cancer. I learnt the importance of not giving up, and of having a closely knitted family that you can fall back to, no matter what life hits you with. The second, an amazing experience that's dear to me, was being in a 3-years long distance relationship that was literally half the world apart. That thought me the significance of making sacrifices to make the relationship work. It was great while it lasted and I have no regrets.
