ABOUT ME

I work full time like most people. My wife and I used to travel more often and further distances compared to now.

I live in Kelowna BC. Its a small town on a lake with great summers and mild winters. Its a tourism town at its finest.

My previous travels have consisted of mostly long road trips from Canada to Mexico and many stops in between.

I spent a year working in Australia and wonder why I ever came back home.

My previous jobs have been varied. Ive been an "Environmental Technician", a Parasail boat captain and rigger, a Sailing deckee, a first mate on commercial boats, a table waiter, satellite installer, computer quality control analyst, and now a small business owner. (finally:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im willing to help those in need. I can offer boat rides in the summer, but live a little too far from the city center for most peoples taste

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive couchsurfed on a few VW owners couches from Seattle to San Diego. I used to only stay with people I knew through friends and the VW Drivers group. My first CouchSurf was in Seattle and ended up being a terrific adventure with the best locals we could have asked for!

Interests

Volkswagens, friends, work (surprisingly!), long boarding, snowboarding, beaches/ocean, road trips.

I used to have a great love for camping but after living in a tent for 3 months overseas, i haven't camped much lately.

I only read on vacations when Ive got time to pass.

I love all types of music, besides country.

I cant remember a movie two weeks after I watch it.
