ABOUT ME

Life is a journey. You start with so many roads before you, not sure which one to chose. I went off one day with nothing in my bare hands just to find the unexplainable depth of the world. My soul felt somehow chosen, my mind was uneasy and thirsty for knowledge. And so I am still walking through the highs and the lows of this beautiful world, just to find it inhabited by scores of people. Some are black, some are grey, some are made from all the rainbows colours. I prefer chosing the brightly coloured dreamers, I guess.

Unfortunatelly, at this time my hosting possibilities are extremely limited, but I do hope that situation improves in a few years time. Always ready to accompany anybody wishing to explore Vilnius - I love to talk about my city!:-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We made it. Big hitchiking travel from Lithuania to Benilux countries and all the way back was really fun and somewhat empowering. Surfed the couches in Poland, Germany and Luxembourg.

Interests

Basically, everything I need to understand the human world better. Don't ask me about cars or ways how to become a millionaire though :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies (in no particular order): Stalker (Tarkovsky), Deadman (Jarrmusch), American Beauty (Mendes), Pulp Fiction (Tarantino), and many many more. Adore Miyazaki's anime.

Music: Sigur Ros, God Is An Astronaut, Arcade Fire, Tool, Led Zeppelin, The Cranberries, Bob Dylan, Bjork, Foje (best Lithuanian band)... Sometimes - jazz, classical or some Lithuanian folk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping on the sand dune in Nida, with the freezing cold and the all-enshrining moonlight under the clearest sky of my lifetime. just me and some stars over the Valley of Death, and some mysterious sense of the long-forgotten oneness with Nature. that was the night of the nights, indeed.
