About Me

ABOUT ME

They would probably say I'm kind of funny, open minded, positive, strong, always have some storys to tell, love cooking and eating as well as spending funny evenings with friends, going out and love nature. I also heard 'you are a hippie but don't look like one' - that fits ;) I'm always interested in learning new stuff as that's what life is about. Freud answered the question 'What makes life worth living?' with 'Work and Love'. I can agree on that, as the statement considers a certain understanding of work, one that includes learning.

Since April 2018 I travel around the world to share and improve my Yoga knowledge. Currently I live in the beautiful Blue Montains of Jamaica and enjoy the privileged life I live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted some people but more often I was a guest at somebody's house. I love the experiences, I always meet interesting people. I love it most because of the people, it feels like I meet friends I didn't know before. It's awesome. It's the best online platform I could discover in the www.

Interests

I have so many! I LOVE cooking and eating, nutrition physiology, reading, writing, theatre, musicals, poetry and music slams, travelling, philosophy, nonviolent conversation (Marshall Rosenberg), psychology, systemic psychotherapy, yoga, meditation, exercises that train consciousness and awareness, anthropology, education, spirituality, water sports, climbing, riding the bike, hiking, trekking, languages, linguistics, learning, getting to know other as well as my own culture, meeting people, spending nice evenings and going out, but also spending smooth evenings at home, deep conversations, different point of views and topics related to mental and physical health. I really enjoy good music - and silence as well. Depends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Paulo Coelho, Osho, Hermann Hesse, Alice Miller, Eckhart Tolle and many more.
Regarding music I'm into Reggae, Folk, Rock, DnB, RnB, Blues, Jazz, Funk... I grew up with Queen and the movie 'Blues Brothers', that's a good description of my music preferences.
I'm really bad in remembering movies, but in general I enjoy movies that capture you, like movies based on a true story or documentaries. I enjoyed Green Mile or Ghost, a message from Sam for example. At least they captured me. I'd prefer a good documentary to a series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Definitely my parachute jump! It was incredible, everyone should have experienced this once in a lifetime. My trip to Peru was also amazing, as it was my first trip on my own. Walking the Camino de Compostela from Portugal to Spain was also unforgettable. I learned a lot in Israel, too. Difficult to name one single thing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A great time! I'm a good cook though and if you read my references, you can get an idea of how our time could be like. Looking forward to it!
