ABOUT ME

Just a normal bloke that got bitten by the travel bug. After many years of procrastination I stepped up a few gears and sold up my life in Scotland and took to the open road in 2015. I haven't looked back since.

I'm currently teaching myself photography on the road.

I like to hike, see nature, climb mountains, eat local and all that stuff.

I'd really love to learn about self sustainability, eco and permaculture for if or when I settle down again.

Ducking down that side alley and seeing what's there is the best way to see a new city, or even an old one.

Animals, I have to pet them, especially dogs.

PHILOSOPHY

Just go for it, you'll be amazed at what you can do when you leave your comfort zone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meet people and travellers new and old to share stories.
Trying to attend meet ups.
I can't host as I don't technically have a home anymore.
I will be a great, clean and respectful guest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am still quite new to the Couchsurfing experience as a whole. I spent a year in Australia where I camped and lived from my car for the most part so I didn't require any host.

Interessi

Running - I started about 2013 and I completed my first marathon in Edinburgh in 2014, I am trying to continue this on the road.

I love getting out into the hills for a hike, I feel more at home hiking the trails, music, art, tattoo's (love tattoo's and will be adding to my collection on the road), love films, a good beer (not too much though) and a good dram, old man bars, visiting new places and meeting new folk.

I'm not sure what I could actually teach someone per sae, Scottish slang..? I could help with most things around the home, small maintenance, any photography you may need, dog sitting...! I'd happily dog sit..!

If you just want peace to get on with work I'll give you peace. If they want to go out and show me around then I am more than happy to accept that offer. I'm sure we'll have a good bit of chat though.

I keep clean and tidy and definitely won't be a clutter bug or disrespect the home I am in, I might even help with a few chores before I go..!
