About Me
Hi, I’m Aadish. I’m from India, but at this point my personality is a mix of every country I’ve accidentally gotten lost in. 🧙♂️
I work in data consulting, which basically means I stare at numbers all day… and then travel to forget about them. When I land in a new city, my favourite thing to do is walk out with zero plan. Usually this leads to two things: Finding a beautiful hidden spot or ending up somewhere I definitely wasn’t supposed to be. Both are equally fun. 📈
I love deep conversations, but I also love stupid conversations. I’m the type who talks about the meaning of life at 3 am and then laughs at a bad joke at 3:02. I say yes to random plans, random food, random people, random everything. If chaos had a soft-spoken cousin, that’s me. 💃
Coffee, chai, long walks, stupid jokes, emotional moments… I’m here for all of it. ☕️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because hotels give you clean sheets, but Couchsurfing gives you stories.
In Croatia, I couchsurfed and somehow ended with a lifelong friendship. In Budapest, I went to one Couchsurfing meetup and came back with so many new friends that I felt like I had accidentally joined a cult. A friendly one. With alcohol.
I’m here because the best part of travel isn’t buildings or monuments. It’s the people who sit with you, walk with you, laugh with you and help you figure out which tram goes where. 😂
Interests
I like to say that I follow a “yes theory,” but honestly it’s more like “sure, why not.”
I enjoy deep conversations, long walks, exploring weird alleys, eating food that might burn my tongue, and talking about life like I know what I’m doing.
Travel has given me lessons in every country.
Slovenia taught me inner peace.
Kuwait taught me hospitality so warm that I felt like a lost relative.
Malaysia taught me I’m not as brave as I think when a shark swims by.
The Netherlands taught me that bikes are faster than my brain.
Germany taught me efficiency.
Budapest taught me I can go club hopping for hours and still wake up in time for breakfast.
I like people who are curious, funny, kind, slightly chaotic, and willing to share a story. If that sounds like you, we’ll get along strangely well.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Hip hop when I’m feeling cool, Coldplay when I’m pretending to be emotional, Bollywood when I’m missing home, and anything upbeat when I’m getting ready to make questionable nightlife decisions. 🕺
Movies: Thrillers, sci-fi, mind-bending stuff, and horror movies that I act brave about but absolutely am not. 🧟
Books: The Alchemist (spiritual mode activated) and Homo Sapiens (who are we, really?) 🧘
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went scuba diving on a remote Malaysian island where the sharks looked at me like I was the weird one. After the dive, we camped on a beach with no network. If something happened, even Google couldn’t save us. But the stars were insane, the silence felt unreal, and for a moment I was convinced I was the main character of a movie. 🤿🏕️
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make proper Indian food. Not the “restaurant curry that tastes the same everywhere” version, but the real stuff: chai that actually wakes your soul, masala that smells like heaven, and food that somehow ends up being both spicy and comforting.
I love learning anything new. A local phrase, a new way to cook potatoes, a weird city legend, your favourite hidden café, how the metro works… literally anything. If you’re willing to teach, I’m willing to learn.
And I love sharing stories. Travel fails, travel wins, philosophical thoughts, dumb jokes, moments that changed me, moments that embarrassed me. Everything is fair game.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook amazing Indian vegetarian meals for you. From curries to chai to snacks that will make you question why you ever ate anything else. If you want a cooking lesson or just want to sit and taste-test everything, I’m your guy.
I can also share good conversation, travel stories, random facts, and a solid amount of enthusiasm for exploring your city. I keep things clean, I respect space, and I don’t need much to feel at home. If I stay with you, you’ll probably get a friend who laughs easily, cooks well, and washes the dishes without being asked.
