Overview
About Me
Hello! I’m a friendly, open-minded adventurer with a passion for meeting new people, traveling, and learning about different cultures. I believe that every person has a unique story, and I’m always excited to listen and share experiences. Whether I’m sipping tea in a local café or exploring a hidden village, I thrive on genuine connections and new friendships. My curiosity and warm attitude help me feel at home just about anywhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe there’s no better way to experience a place than through its people. Staying with locals lets me really immerse myself in daily life and customs, instead of just sightseeing. I want genuine connections and cultural exchange—sharing home-cooked meals, laughter, and stories with people from around the world. Couchsurfing is about friendship, adventure, and building a global community of like-minded explorers.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a wide range of genres, from upbeat indie rock to soulful folk and lively world music. I often create playlists from songs I discover while traveling. Listening to music from different cultures always lifts my spirits and keeps me dancing no matter where I am.
Movies: I love inspiring travel and adventure films like Into the Wild, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, or The Motorcycle Diaries. Comedies and feel-good classics are also favorites when I want a cozy movie night after a long day of exploring.
Books: I adore reading travel memoirs and inspirational novels. Books like Eat, Pray, Love, The Alchemist, and Wild are some of my favorites. I also enjoy novels set in foreign countries and nonfiction about world history and culture.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I’ve done was hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru. The four-day trek through the Andes was challenging but incredibly rewarding, with breathtaking mountain views around every corner. I camped under the stars with fellow travelers and made friendships that have lasted long after the journey. Reaching the Sun Gate at sunrise and seeing Machu Picchu emerge from the mist is a memory I’ll cherish forever.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share simple travel tips I’ve picked up (like packing efficiently or finding hidden gems) and even teach how to cook a favorite dish from my home country. I enjoy helping others plan an adventure or handle a hiccup on the road.
Learn: I’m eager to learn local languages and traditional dances wherever I go. Picking up a few phrases of the local language always makes me smile, and I’d love to learn steps to a folk dance or how to play a local musical instrument from a new friend.
Share: I love sharing travel stories, photos, and a positive attitude. I’m always happy to swap experiences—whether it’s showing my favorite travel photos or exchanging fun facts about each other’s cultures.
