Hi! I’m Aalekh (called Aalee or Aali for short and I’m a 3rd year medical student that goes to a medical university in Bulgaria! I’m an avid foodie, I really enjoy all sorts of different cuisines (especially Asian ones!), I’m 22 years old and I’m a British Indian, who’s an ambivert! I’m passionate about learning new languages and am keen on getting to know more people and eventually form new friendships and connections, love listening to songs/music as well as singing them myself and a little boogie doesn’t hurt either! I watch Indian Tv soap operas from time to time and have a thing for TFL, I’m a TFL aholic! I was born in Thane, India, however originally brought up in Mumbai

Learnt my contact list off by heart (a good percentage of it!) and spent whole nights, commuting on night buses, having long drives on them and doing full journeys on some of the individual night bus routes there are individually, as part of a self set challenge

I can teach local Londoners more about the bus routes and tubes in London, I’m a wonderful transport advisor. I’m good with directions around the city and I recommend some of the best, most convenient routes to get around the city and often, it’s routes they hadn’t thought of or known of before (especially when it’s by bus), I would love to learn a few more Indian regional languages like Bangla, Gujarati, Punjabi, Telugu. Kannada, Tamil, etc Likewise, I don’t mind teaching some Bulgarian to my host, that I’ve picked up ever since I’ve been living here in Bulgaria as a student

I can share my belongings and some of my stuff/resources I might bring along as well as I can help them with chores and any favours they may ask of me, depending on what they are, I’ll do my best to be as helpful to the host as possible
