Hi, I'm Aamir. I'm 21 years old from England, Bristol and am currently studying dentistry at university. I am new to couch surfing. I signed up as I am travelling around Thailand in my summer break.

Interests

I enjoy sport, both watching and playing. I love hiking and getting lost in places unfamiliar to me, always open to an adventure. I appreciate the beauty of the world and could spend hours star gazing, lazing around on a beach or relaxing by a waterfall. I'm also always up for activities like white water rafting rock climbing and of course partying.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all sorts of music, if I had to choose a favourite song it would be Vanessa Carlton - a thousand miles 😝
I'm not the sort of person to watch loads of movies. Just the good ones. 12 years a slave, inception, gone girl. Favourite film is probably blood diamond.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whilst on a placement in Weston general hospital shadowing a junior doctor an emergency arose in which an elderly woman was experiencing a cardiac arrest. We both rushed to help the woman, although I didn't perform the resuscitation myself (as there were better qualified people around me to do so) I ran to get the crash trolley and some of the equipment required to assist the doctors. The woman was stabilised and it was an amazing thing to witness and to be part of. Life is precious.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am fluent in English so I could teach this.
I can also speak Urdu and a little French.
I would love to learn anything that anyone can offer, I see myself as a student of the world as there is always something you don't know which you can learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am fluent in English and can speak Urdu well so I can teach these languages. I am training to be a dentist so perhaps any dental advise you may need I could provide.
I am also a hard working individual and as mentioned above I want to make the most of my time on this earth so whether that is getting involved in charity work, teaching children, building schools etc... I'm always up for it and am not afraid to get my hands dirty.
I can also cook a pretty good chicken jalfrezi curry, much better than you can buy from an Indian restaurant.
I do smoke but am in the process of quitting.
