Walking into a collection of ex-votos in the tiny chapel my grandmother's village in Italy, making zines in Amman, getting to sketch with one of my comic-drawing heroes from Egypt, sleeping on a beach in Spain, moshing in a dive bar in Reykjavik and seeing Bjork walk in!

I can teach beginning-intermediate knitting. I also have a background in the academic study of religion and education and like to talk about such things. My partner can teach chess and is a mathematician who does evolutionary modeling, which he likes to chat about. We have great book shelves! (Um, the books, not the shelves.)
