Hi! My name is Aandarra, I was born in California and have lived the last 15 years on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.. I am a west coast girl at heart but I have an undeniable desire to see the world and to experience new places. My recent desire is to take my island life to the next level and try things out in Hawaii. I believe a sense of adventure and not letting our lives pass us by is so important but also.... don't take things so seriously ;)

I think the best way to experience a new place and culture is to live with the locals! Tourists books are OK, but I want to get to know the real personality and richness of your home. Dive bars, hole-in the wall restaurants, secret nature nooks... I want the experiences I won't find on the beaten path. I also love learning, sharing and experiencing things with new people. This is my first time trying couch surfing as a way of travel, and I am looking forward to meeting you :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In Dawson City, Yukon there is a bar that serves a shot of whiskey with an old prospector's toe in it (its black and very dead). You take the shot and usually the toe gets in your mouth..... I did it.... and it did! Not sure if that is amazing or stupid but I am proud of it.
