About Me
Hello everybody!!!
My name is Aaron Rosemann and currently I am a law student for german and french law at the Heinrich-Heine-University of Düsseldorf (1.Semester).
Before I became a law student I was working at Robert BOSCH France in Paris for two years, which I absolutely loved and that is also why I decided to continue my studies in not only german but also french law. I am deeply connected to France and the United States. During my high school time I went on a Rotary Youth Exchange to Portland Oregon. I consider this city as my second hometown.
I'm a very open-minded person who embraces new cultures and people from all around the world!
I'm highly interested into politics and history and at the same time I like to be active sportswise. Which, unfortunately is almost impossible right now, because of all the work that is connected to my studies. Nevertheless, you try to make the best of it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet new people and have a nice conversation. Especially when you are in a new country it's always better to be with natives instead of doing the tourist tour.

Music, Movies, and Books
This is probably the most difficult section to fill out......
I think I like everytype of music as long as it isn't extreme dubstep or hardrock.
Right now I'm reading a lot of law books which is highly interesting and I could also advise to read some of these books because you would be surprised what kind of laws you would find in the german or french law books (ex. : In Germany there is a law that regulates the ownership of a swarm of bees. Just a little impression of what you can find). Other than that, I love books by Ken Follett.
Movies,....I think Matrix is definitely under my top 5 and a movie that I have watched way too many times.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Youth Exchange was probably one of the most influencing experiences I have had so far. It shows you how well different nationalities can work together and help each other. You learn so much from different cultures and at the same time you get to respect different opinions, even when you had a different point of view before. It helps to connect with people and with overcoming prejugement. It made me a very outgoing and confident (sometimes too confident) person and shaped my personality in a positive way.
Teach, Learn, Share
Smile at a person you don't know once a day and you will receive a positive response ! ( mostly ^^)
