About Me
where should I start...
I am a very curious person, thats why I started early to travel. And the travelfever totally got me, when I was 18 I spent some months in New Zealand. When i came back from there I wanted to go back abroad as fast as possible. The last two years before coming to the Canaries, i was working for a startup to save some money. The money was meant to be for a trip around the world, which I then postponed after the pandemic started. Then I started to search for some opportunities to go abroad and work in some projects, to have a base and maybe learn a new language. I was really lucky to find an amazing project and a new 'family' there. And today i am on Tenerife now for over two months and learning spanish, looking forward for the next adventure...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me it is simply the best way to travel to a foreign country, to get in touch with locals and the language. The opportunity to meet new people and dive deep into a new culture are the most amazing parts about travelling. Furthermore local people can show you some secret spots, bars, restaurants which you would normally never discover.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling to Tenerife and living the first time in a community. It is a social ecological project where a small or big group lives together and shares mostly everything. Cooking together, doing garden tasks exploring the island or any other activities are all shared.
During this time I was living in a Bamboo yurt which is much more comfortable than a tent. Electricity was only at some spots available so the life here was really back to the roots.
Facing all the challenges of living together in a big group is simply amazing, because you grow together even through hard times. And the bright times are always stronger and worth it .
Teach, Learn, Share
I am learning to play the guitar for around a year now, and am always very happy if some experienced players can show me some new tracks to practice.
Cooking is one of my passions and I can teach others a few things of the german cuisine, but I am definitely not a chef.
As I mentioned before I am always curious and willing to learn new stuff in the kitchen, like recipes or techniques. But also new languages, instruments or garden stuff I am interested in.
