ABOUT ME

My name is Aaron Michael Fons, and I am new to the couch surfing world. I am a tall, thin American male and I am 21 years old. I am currently studying with a special business school in Dijon, France, to fulfill the requirements for my minor in international business.
This is my first time in Europe, so I want to experience as much as I can. Unfortunately, I'm not here for very long and don't have as much financial freedom as I would like, so I have to be frugal and choose my destinations carefully!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to the fullest. I am not afraid of any experience, or to talk to anyone, however different or unique it may be to me. You cannot learn anything if you do not make an effort to do so, and you can never win if you never play.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because I have just joined the site, I have not participated at all to this point. I hope to be able to surf several couches in Europe, and then be able to host as much as possible when I return to the United States.

I enjoy all sports, particularly football, basketball, and American football.
I love to learn new things, and to interact with people from different cultures. My goal is to be able to speak 5 languages by the time I'm 25 (I have 2 1/4 right now).
I like watching movies and television, listening to music, playing chess, participating in stimulating conversation, and following up on the business world.
I love to go out and have a good time.

Recently, the most amazing thing I have done is simply moving to France without a guidebook or French-English dictionary, knowing no one here, and practicing my French and making friends on the fly. It's been an incredible experience!

I am a fantastic speaker and a very social person - I have no fear when it comes to meeting new people or making new friends. I would love to help people come out of their shells or conquer their fears of getting acquainted with strangers.
