About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to make the most of life on a very small budget. The best things in life are free!

ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded guy, down to earth and accepting. I'm a pacifist, an athiest, and a proponent of civil liberties and personal freedoms. My friends would say that I am a total hippy, and they'd be right. In fact depending on the company I am keeping, I sometimes go by Hippy as a nickname (that doesn't make much sense when I'm hangin' with other hippies).

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Anyway I can. I don't have a couch to offer at the moment, sorry.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have, in the past both hosted couchsurfers(in Las Vegas) and been a couchsurfer myself (in San Diego).

Interests

I'm a big music lover. There's nothing better to pass the time than a few choice albums. I especially like to see live music, whether it be in a small venue like a bar, or a massive music festival, I am right where I wanna be. I also appreciate film, books, and all kinds of art.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm interested in a whole lot of music including, but not limited to,... jam, alternative/indie, alternative/country, blues, bluegrass, psychedelic, experimental, electronic, and hip hop. When I read for pleasure I will usually pick something in the Horror/Fantasy catagory along the lines of Stephen King and Anne Rice. When it comes to a flick, I prefer independent films, or anything with a great story and inspired acting. Leave the action movies and mass appeal blockbuster types for the next guy please.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of things I've seen or done that left me awestruck? I would have to say my trip to Kennebunkport, Maine in the fall, the leaves were all changing colors, and the ocean was beautiful. Spending some time growing up in Germany was also awsome, my father was in the Army and we lived in Bamberg for a while. Last but not least I am happy to say that I was able to see The Dead at the Forum in Inglewood, California, I didn't know that I'd have the chance considering the fact that I only started my love affair with the band in 1995, the year that Jerry Garcia died,... may he rest in peace.

Teach, Learn, Share

Eternal student.
