About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find out what it means to be truly happy.
ABOUT ME
I'm excited, friendly, and curious. Putting myself in new situations is how I grow, learn, and mature. I love listening to and sharing music and eating and experimenting with different kinds of food. I think martial arts are awesome, and have studied a few since age 15, including Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I want to have friends everywhere!
PHILOSOPHY
This is something that I'm just starting to figure out, but I would definitely like to talk to people about it. Maybe when we meet, we can discuss!
Interests
Things that I haven't experienced before. I love learning, and one of my guiding principles is to never stop learning. I spend my time talking with my friends, just chatting or grappling with difficult questions about life and happiness. I'm interested in how people's life philosophies differ around the world, but I have a suspicion that they aren't as different as they might first seem.
Switching gears, I'm also an engineering student, and I really like making things--mechanical and software are my favorites. I can talk about projects from my school for a long, long time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) Sailing from Juneau, Alaska to Pelican, Alaska on a small fishing boat. The water was /so/ blue, and the snow-capped mountains and trees lining the bay were really sublime. Plus, I saw two bears on the shore through binoculars, as well as orcas, humpback whales, and porpoises.
2) Bird-watching as I hiked through an abandoned coffee plantation near Antigua, Guatemala. I saw two black-and-white owls perched in a tree, like 30 feet away. The rainforest was so green and beautiful. We saw a lot of crazy birds on those hikes.
3) Hanging on the rocks with my cousin outside Mont Saint-Michel in France. The tide was low, and it was sunny and breezy out, with not too many people around. It was peaceful, and I felt really great there.
