ABOUT ME
I live in Berkeley, California working on Criminal Justice reform in the United States. I'm curious, adventurous, and laid back. I used to live with over 125 people in one house, so I have a pretty good idea how to get along with people.
PHILOSOPHY
Openness, compassion, self-observation, exploration, awareness, peace.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to meet people. I'll try to host, but more often than not it is really inconvenient for me, simply because of my living situation. I want to help any way I can, whether it be going to events, networking, or just being a friendly face to greet you.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed in Washington DC back in 2010, but unfortunately I haven't had much time to travel since then. Looking forward to the next adventure!

Books: Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (Tom Robbins), Ender's game/Ender's shadow series, Dune series, Starship Troopers (the book... not the movie), Isaac Asimov
Music: just about everything except country, and main-stream rap/r&b with hateful/pointless lyrics. I do listen to rap MUSIC though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in Montevideo, Uruguay, when they won the game against Ghana in the 2010 world cup to move on to the Semi-finals. I have never seen a whole city party so hard in one night.
