About Me

It's always a bit difficult and egocentric to talk about yourself but I would like to think of myself as an easy-going, amicable, optimistic, and passionate person, who is always up to do things, meet new people, have some good conversations and laughter, and try new stuff !
I like being spontaneous and going with the flow, in my experience, a lot of times, the best plan is to not have a plan !
PHILOSOPHY

Ichi-go Ichi-e.
It's a Japanese saying that means "one time, one meeting", every encounter is unique and we should make the best out of them and treasure them.

Honesty is the best policy. Always.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel the world and my idea of a great trip is being able to meet new people and make memories. My values are pretty much what this site is all about: meeting people, making friends and life-long memories & offering them good loughs, neat and comfortable place to stay.

Looking to meet people from all walks of life. Looking for good stories. Enjoy hospitality.

Music, Movies, and Books

I must confess I am stuck in the 20th century and everything prior to that. The contemporary music is just not my thing but I am willing to keep my ears open if you’re passionate about it. Otherwise, jazz, Bossa Nova, all classical music, opera, french chansons are the things I love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No way to narrow it down to just one, so to name a few:

- White-water rafted through the Grand Canyon
- Visited 4 New Wonders of the World
- Dove the Great Barrier Reef
- 4 wheeling around Santorini
- 16hr car ride in Laos...-_-
- Met Tom Cruise
-Shook hands with the VP of the Philippines
-Skydived
- Took in New Years in Times Square ('10), Moscow ('13)
- St. Patty's day in Dublin

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a curious individual and I like to think of myself as a perpetual student. We can all teach and learn from each other, something as simple as having a conversation with someone can be a great life lesson.
I really enjoy listening to the stories of other people, I find it fascinating and I've been lucky enough to meet some great souls along my trips that were a source of inspiration and motivation.

I would be more than happy to teach you/practice some French/English with you, show you how to make cocktails, explore the city with you (if I am not working/too busy), and I might be able to host you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My good mood, some stories, and laughter, teach you some French, treat you to a meal/coffee/drink (or I can make you a cocktail myself if you feel like it ! Haha !)
Obviously, I will help out with chores and whatnot. I very rarely surf but when I do, it's for the experience, to learn more about the culture, and to be able to share with locals, I am not looking for free accommodation, and I think that the people that are use Couchsurfing solely for that purpose are missing out the point.
