I've just given up my job managing a restaurant in Edinburgh to head north and move into a rural cottage.

I used to run an art-space in the city, where we showed exhibitions and hosted residencies, until the owners reclaimed the property. I spent a lot of time curating other peoples artwork, and am trying to focus more on my own again!

I'm new to Couchsurfing!

I've joined the site as I'm visiting a pal in Leipzig in July, though I'm spending a couple of days in Berlin first. Would love to meet people to show me around Berlin/potentially host me.

Interests

I'm interested in artist-run organisations and spaces, as a means to support the production and display of new work, and remain autonomous from larger institutions.

There are incredible places to hill-walk (or "hike") nearby to where I live - I'm incredibly lucky that such amazing places are so accessible!

I'm gluten-free, and love cooking for friends when I have the time!
